I have my eye on a plane ticket to New York City. This is how I'm getting to Ithaca for my introduction to Cornell's vet school. There are several possibilities, actually, in the $160 price area. Yay, cheap! I should buy today!

Oh, wait, wow, my usual stash of money suddenly does not exist because it's nearly time for my biannual school refund check. Which ain't coming till the 25th.

As many times as people have asked me, I will now ask you: Can I borrow $165? It would be promptly returned by the end of the month, assuming the check arrives on time, which it usually does.

In other news...Aphex Twin and Bjork make me very happy lately. Thanks, Andy and Marc! Joanna Newsom is ear candy as well. Thanks, Lyle, via Lou! The last radio show was filled with all of these. I even got a phone call about how awesome the Aphex Twin stuff is. I bet the dude thought I was super-cool and HOTT.
