Dare I touch this thing after so long? Well, it's the first "cold" day this season, and I'm all confused and so need to focus on something, e.g., this diary. How does one keep warm? I'll have to remember.

Andy and I discussed getting married for the sake of relinquishing my American citizenship. Unfortunately, I'd also have to live in England for 3 years before that government considers me to be British. Also, I was kinda planning on going to vet school in America, so I don't think I'm running off with some British tart just yet.

Though we may elope in Las Vegas for the sheer hell of it.

Just as long as there isn't a draft sending me and my peers to fight for oil (apologies for further spreading rumors via the INTERNETS), I will tolerate the conservative agenda for the next four years. Hell, I'll probably be so absorbed in becoming a cat doctor that I won't even notice that there's a world outside of my medical texts.

This was my first time voting, and out of the half-dozen or so thingies I voted for, only one actually won. And so, I have the wrong president, the wrong constitutional amendment, and the wrong local representatives, but hey, at least my school won't get $12 million to build sports facilities.

I'll have to blow the dust off of rainbo-hat when I go home.
