Um, a little miscalculation: While the plane tickets of $165 are good, I'd still have to take like an $80 5-hour bus from NYC to Ithaca, and basically, I would leave New Orleans at 6:30 am and arrive in Ithaca at 9:30 pm. Um, that's like traveling to freakin LONDON or something--I know this because I did! So, I was advised to just fly straight to Ithaca. I would do much less traveling, would not have to stay an extra night, and not deal with a bus: the airport is ten minutes from the university. So at a price of $282 or so, not a bad deal.

But I still do not have this money!

If you are seriously willing to lend me the money or just straight buy the ticket (you could even just give me HALF), I will pay you back by the end of the month. Or if you want to consider it a nice graduation gift, hey, I won't argue with that! But I have budgeted to allow myself to spend that money, so it's no big deal. It would mean a lot to me, but of course I understand that not everyone can provide. Please get in touch as soon as possible if you want to, though.
